COMPANION FELINE:
Our Companion Feline program helps both seniors and AIDS clients with basic medical needs for their pets. The project also provides for them to adopt a special feline to comfort them through the tough times. We do have declawed pets (declawed by their previous owners) that may be an option for persons with medical concerns. Any Animal Outreach pet would be accepted back if there was no one else to care for the cat. We will also try to place the cat if the need arises.
FRIENDLY TRAPPING:
Animal Outreach will assist those in El Dorado and surrounding counties who are trying to trap, alter and release to manage feral cat colonies. Special fees and arrangements are available.
EL DORADO HUMANE SOCIETY & EL DORADO COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL:
We work together to help place homeless pets into loving homes. Helping match up lost and found pets to get them back to their homes is another task. Animal Outreach alters some animals for both groups prior to adoption.
